Flash Fiction Online Reboot

Flash Fiction Online has reopened for business with a new editor. Suzanne Vincent, one of our first staffers, has taken over as Editor in Chief. Many of our existing staffers remain, and some new ones have been added — our staff page will be updated by the time our first issue goes live so you can meet them all. Jake has stepped back from his responsibilities for the most part.

The last year wasn't great with respect to managing submissions, queries, or correspondance, for a variety of reasons both technical and personal. Now that we've gotten out from under that situation, we have taken steps to ensure that it doesn't happen again. One of those is the use of Submishmash to manage submissions. This should provide clearer communication with our authors, reduce the need for queries, and ensure that submissions don't get "lost in the aether" because of spam filters or other issues.

We're very excited to get Flash Fiction Online back off the ground, and we hope that you'll join us for our next issue.
