Writer's Digest has just hired a "Grammar Guru" -- a copy editor named Bonnie Trenga -- to write a column called "The Sentence Sleuth". Her inaugural column talks very clearly about "nominalizations", which I often point out when I'm cutting (in vaguer terms than she uses here). Well worth checking out, and I hope she produces many more columns to come!
