K.C. Ball Approved as an SFWA Member
I usually think good thoughts toward anyone who receives professional recognition from the SFWA, but K.C. Ball's was special because her third qualifying sale is At Both Ends, which we published here in June. Congratulations, K.C.!

Thank you, Jake. The story is one of my favorites and I'm pleased and proud it made its way into Flash Fiction Online.
And, if you don't mind, I'll toot your horn a bit.
For those of you who don't know, Flash Fiction Online has been on the Qualifying Short Fiction Venues list at the SFWA for almost a year now -- one of few (if not the only) magazines devoted to flash fiction that is.
Congratulations to you, Jake, for all your hard work.
K.C., thanks for your gratuitous toot. The 'zine wouldn't exist without authors of great flash fiction. It also wouldn't exist without my staff, who are all volunteers, so whatever kudos I get have to be passed on to them as well.
Thanks, and congratulations again!
