Deanna J. Valdez is a proud Filipina Canadian with a deep love for folklore, fairy tales, eldritch horrors and mythical retellings. She obtained an English Literature degree from McGill University and currently lives in Montreal, Canada. You can usually find her at dim sum, wandering the Old Port, or running to a dance class.
