Aggie Novak lives with her wife by the beach in Australia, where she spends most of her time hiding from the sun and heat. She writes around studying for her pharmacy degree and entertaining her two dogs. She loves all kinds of speculative fiction and often draws inspiration from Slavic folklore and mythology. When not writing, she can be found drinking tea and reading everything in sight.

C.R. Langille spent many a Saturday afternoon watching monster movies with her mom. It wasn’t long before she started crafting nightmares to share with her readers. She is a retired, disabled veteran with a deep love for weird and creepy tales. This prompted her to form Timber Ghost Press in January of 2021. She is an award-winning author, affiliate member of the Horror Writers Association, the DEI Chair for the League of Utah Writers, earned her MFA: Writing Popular Fiction from Seton Hill University in 2014, and was named Editor of the Year by the League of Utah Writers in 2024.

Anne Wilkins

Once a family court lawyer, now a New Zealand primary school teacher, Anne Wilkins spends what little spare time she has writing stories—lots of them. Her short fiction has appeared, or is forthcoming, in Apex Magazine, The Dark, Cast of Wonders, Midnight Echo (Australasian Horror Writers Association), Tales to Terrify, Cosmic Horror Monthly, and more. She is the winner of the June 2024 Elegant Literature Prize, the 2023 Autumn Writers Battle, the 2023 Cambridge Autumn Festival Short Story Competition, and the 2022 Writers’ Online Twist Short Story Competition. Anne was a finalist for the 2025 Kurt Vonnegut Speculative Literary Prize, the 2024 London Independent Story Prize (LISP), the 2025 Bristol Short Story Prize and placed third in the Hammond House 2024 International Literary Prize. Her work is featured in a number of anthologies, and in 2025 she was appointed as a preliminary judge for Elegant Literature.

Anne’s love of writing is fuelled by copious amounts of coffee, reading and hope. She is supported in her writing journey by her ever-patient husband, two wonderful daughters, and of course two feline writing assistants. The force is with her, always (or she hopes it is).
